The ski area of Alpe-Cimbra consists of two zones: Folgaria (74 km of trails) and Lavarone (30 km of trails). The greatest height is 1850 m above sea level. There is a ski bus between the two zones, which, with a ski pass, provides tourists for free from the same skiing area every 15 minutes. For fans of snowboarding there is a snowpark, there are trails for flat skis, a slide for sledging, and a skating rink where you can skate. The region is part of the Skimam-Dolomiti-Adamello-Brenta complex. In the center of the ski resort of Folgaria there is a cozy pedestrian zone of 2.5 km with bars, restaurants and shops. The rest in Folgaria is well suited for families with children, since: the journey time is only 1 hour from the airport of Verona; many inexpensive apartments, 3 * and 4 * hotels; an animation program for children and adults; most of the ski slopes are protected from the wind by trees, which is comfortable for children; Red or black tracks are always duplicated by a blue light track; there is a children's ski school; the center for sledding; 40 km of cycle paths for special mountain bikes.
