Livigno- Alta-Valtellina
Livigno - the resort is located 40 km from Bormio, near the Swiss border, between two national parks (Italian Stelvio and the Swiss Engadin). It occupies a valley 23 km wide, surrounded on both sides by mountains up to 3000 m high. In winter Livigno turns into a snow-covered paradise, pleasing with a bright sun, amazing natural beauty and a high-altitude climate. In 2016 the resort ranked second in the Best Ski Resort rating. Livigno is recognized as one of the best family resorts. For parents and children there is a kindergarten Lupigno with a ski school, playgrounds in the training area near the rope tows.
