San Marino is the oldest of the existing republics of the world, one of the smallest countries in Europe, proud of its history and uniqueness. The area of the independent state is just over 60 km, on all sides the country is surrounded by Italy. The official language of San Marino is Italian, the currency is Euro, and most of its inhabitants are Roman Catholics. The historical center of the capital of the state - the city of San Marino and Mount Monte Titano since 2008, entered the UNESCO World Heritage List of Humanity.
